Angola registers another positive case of local transmission

A 15-year-old teenager, who had direct contact with “case 26”, ended up infected by Covid-19, which increases the number of people affected with the disease to 36 in Angola.

He is interned in one of the health units in Luanda. The Secretary of State for Public Health, who announced the fact yesterday during the press conference that served to update the data, said it was a case of local transmission of “case 26”. And it is ninth registered in the country. Franco Mufinda recalled that “case 26” arrived from Portugal on the 18th of March. It has 25 contacts and the diagnosis made, has already produced eight positive cases.
