This prestigious British medical school refers to 119 different vaccine projects against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, 110 of which are in the “preclinical” development phase. Eight projects have reached the stage of phase I clinical trials in humans. Among them, a Chinese project, led by the company CanSino, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is in an even more advanced phase, with phase I and phase II clinical tests.
