52 young men who refused to join the Jihad were executed and beheaded

Lusa

The executions took place on April 8 in the village of Xitaxi, when armed groups were trying to recruit young people in the Muidumbe district, according to Orlando Modumane, a spokesman for the Mozambican police.

“The young men who were about to be recruited offered resistance, which caused the ire of the malefactors who indiscriminately shot 52 young men,” explained the spokesman for the Mozambican police command-general. The youth were “massacred”, some of them severed, after refusing to join the Islamic jihadist group.
