Italy exceeds 20,000 killed by coronavirus

The new coronavirus has already caused 20,465 deaths in Italy, according to data released this Monday by the country’s Civil Protection agency. In the last 24 hours alone, 566 more deaths were added, a daily number that rose again.

However, new cases of infection continue to decline. This Monday saw the lowest number of the last week: 3153, that is, a rate of change of 2.02%, the lowest since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, on February 20.
