Paulo Flores, Lura, Anna Joyce, Cuca Roseta, and more than 20 artists are coming together in Lisbon for the first edition of the Festeja Festival, billed as “the grand stage” for celebrating Lusophone music.
On July 17 and 18, the Olivais e Moscavide Stadium will gather some of the greatest references in music from Portuguese-speaking African countries, promoting an encounter between different generations, according to a press release from the event organizers.
The Festeja Festival invites the public to celebrate the music, culture, and unity of the Lusophone world in a historic edition that also marks the 30th anniversary of the public radio station RTP África.
The Festeja Festival is the materialization of a 30-year history connecting RTP África Radio with Lusophone communities. We want to provide a memorable event that celebrates the cultural richness of our countries through music, proximity, and sharing between artists and the public, highlights Grupo Chiado, the company responsible for promoting the event.
