Harry Kane put on a masterclass at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, scoring a spectacular second-half hat-trick to lead Bayern Munich to a 3-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart. The triumph secures the DFB-Pokal for the Bavarian giants, completing a domestic double alongside their Bundesliga title.
Despite an intense and evenly matched first half that ended scoreless, Vincent Kompany’s side completely blew the game open after the break, heavily relying on the clinical finishing of their English talisman.
Portuguese winger Raphaël Guerreiro entered the pitch for Bayern in the final moments of the match to join the celebrations, while his compatriot Tiago Tomás was subbed on for Stuttgart during the second half in a late bid to spark a comeback.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 55th minute. Michael Olise drove hard down the right wing, cutting inside to deliver a pinpoint cross with his weaker right foot. Kane anticipated the trajectory perfectly, meeting the ball with a powerful diving header to make it 1-0.

Shortly after the opening goal, the match was briefly halted due to poor visibility caused by pyrotechnics and thick smoke launched from the stands during the halftime break.
Stuttgart struggled to find answers against a disciplined Munich defense, and their uphill battle turned into a mountain in the 80th minute. Just seconds after striking the woodwork from distance, Kane controlled a sharp pass from Luis Díaz, turning his defender brilliantly before curling a clinical strike into the bottom-right corner for his second of the night.
In stoppage time (90+2′), Angelo Stiller blocked another goalward Olise cross with his arm, prompting referee Sven Jablonski to point to the penalty spot. Kane stepped up confidently, drilling the ball low into the right corner to complete his treble and cap off an incredible 61-goal season across all club competitions.
A Historic Treble: With this performance, Harry Kane became only the fourth player in history to score a hat-trick in a German Cup final, joining a legendary list that includes Uwe Seeler (1963), Roland Wohlfarth (1986), and Robert Lewandowski (2012).
This victory marks Bayern Munich’s 21st DFB-Pokal title in club history and ends their six-year drought in the competition, dating back to their last cup win in 2020.
