A road accident in the early hours of yesterday in the municipality of Cabo Ledo, Icolo e Bengo province, killed 12 people (updated number) and seriously injured 32 others.
The tragedy occurred at around 05:47 on the EN 100 national road near the locality of Sangano, when a Yutong bus belonging to the company Macon skidded and overturned. Driver fatigue and the poor condition of the vehicle are among the main causes of the accident, according to data released by the Icolo e Bengo Civil Protection and Fire Service (SPCB).
