An explosion was felt early this morning in front of a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, the police said, adding that there were no reported injuries.
The explosion occurred at 04:00 (03:00 in Lisbon) in front of the synagogue on Léon Frédéricq street in Liège, causing material damage.

Windows of the buildings in front of the synagogue were smashed, said a police spokesperson for Liège. Authorities have established a security perimeter to allow the ongoing initial investigation.
