In Lebanon, the Israeli armed forces claimed to have hit around 80 targets in the last 24 hours, including several command centers attributed to the Shiite movement Hezbollah in Beirut. The Israeli army released images showing a building being hit, without providing additional details.
Lebanese authorities confirmed at least eight deaths in Israeli attacks, including two people in a building hit in the Beddawi refugee camp in Tripoli, and three on a coastal road. Another three civilians died in two nearly simultaneous drone attacks by Israel in southern suburbs of the capital, which also left six injured.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, drone attacks hit two vehicles on the night of Wednesday. The Israeli armed forces indicated that the target was a member of Hezbollah, adding that more information would be released later.
The conflict escalated after the military attack launched on February 28 by the United States and Israel against Iran, which resulted in the death of the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has closed the Strait of Hormuz and launched retaliatory attacks against Israeli targets, American bases, and infrastructure in several countries in the region.
