More than 200,000 Angolan companies had not paid taxes to the state for over 12 months

By October 2025, out of a total of 376,754 companies registered with the General Tax Administration (AGT) in active status, 272,768 had not submitted any declarations or paid taxes to the State for over 12 months

The information was advanced on Thursday in Luanda by the President of the Administrative Management Committee of AGT, José Leiria, during a press conference with business associations and the Order of Accountants and Accounting Experts of Angola (OCPA) to discuss topics related to the requirements of electronic invoicing.
