The company sold 12,130 vehicles in the EU last month, down from 18,430 units in November 2024. Tesla’s market share fell from 2.1% to 1.4%, reflecting a slowdown amid intensifying competition from both traditional carmakers and new electric vehicle entrants.
Industry analysts attribute part of the decline to consumer backlash over CEO Elon Musk’s political involvement with former U.S. President Donald Trump, which has reportedly affected the brand’s perception in parts of Europe.
The results highlight the challenges Tesla faces in maintaining growth in an increasingly competitive European market, where affordability, government incentives, and a growing range of electric vehicles from competitors are reshaping consumer choices.
