GEG and MYEIC are co-organizing the “Made in Macao” Event Organizer Competition, with the competition winner to receive a contract worth MOP200,000 and the opportunity to organize a two-day “Made in Macao” market at GEG’s back of house areas on November 27 and 28.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and the Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC) have jointly launched the “Made in Macau” Event Organizer Competition, targeting local SMEs and youth startups.

Supported by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macau SAR Government, this initiative promotes the “Large Businesses Leading Small Businesses” model and encourages sustainable growth for Macau enterprises.

Eligible Macau-registered SMEs and youth startups can submit one proposal each, focusing on the “Made in Macau” theme to highlight local SMEs and Macau-made products.

Applicants must be Macau residents aged between 18 and 44. Proposals should feature 10 to 14 booths and provide details on venue layout, stage design, installation, decorative ambiance, and merchant recruitment.

The competition evaluation will be based on five key criteria: Creativity & Theme, Functionality, Execution Quality, Sustainability, and Ability to Support Local SMEs and Promote the ‘Made in Macau’ Principle.

The winner will receive a contract worth MOP200,000 and the opportunity to organize a two-day “Made in Macau” market at GEG’s back-of-house areas on November 27 and 28.

The competition aims to enhance participants’ event management competencies, from concept development to on-site execution, while also providing a platform for local SMEs to showcase products and expand business opportunities.

Interested parties can access the competition guidelines and registration form via the QR code on the event poster.

GEG remains committed to supporting Macau SMEs and youth entrepreneurs by launching diverse initiatives to foster growth opportunities and mutual success.
