In this context, Sam revealed that Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong has been invited to serve as one of the seven legislators appointed by the Chief Executive to the Assembly. He made these remarks during a press conference held immediately after the Reception celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Sam emphasised that the appointments were made primarily to foster positive interaction and mutual communication between the executive and legislative branches during policy formulation, deliberation, and legislative processes.
