The sister of singer Céline Dion revealed this week in an interview with Le Journal de Montréal that the artist is “surrounded by specialists” who are helping her fight the disease. For Claudette Dion, the disorder came as a result of the artist’s long years of work, now described as “hard”. “It started at age 12, it really wasn’t even adolescence,” she said.
On December 8th, the singer made a video on her official Instagram account, where she revealed that she suffered from “stiff person syndrome”, a rare disease that caused muscle spasms and affected her vocal cords, which is why she canceled her performances planned for 2023 and 2024, according to the Spanish magazine Hola.
