Macau has not yet officially received authorization for the resumption of tours from China, the director of the Tourism Office said yesterday.
Helena Senna Fernandes noted that operators in Macau are prepared for the start-up, but authorization is lacking.
She also noted that the recent outbreaks in Guangdong province also affect the resumption of tours, which was announced at the end of September by the Chief Executive.
At the time, Ho Iat Seng admitted that tours and issuing of electronic visas could resume in November.
