Sporting: Matheus Nunes made official at Wolverhampton

“Wolves has concluded the signing of the highly reputed Portuguese international Matheus Nunes, from Sporting, for a club record fee. The dynamic midfielder, 23 years old, who was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, signed for five seasons, with one more as an option, thus ending his successful stay in Lisbon”, says the statement released by Wolverhampton.

The 23-year-old midfielder arrives in the Premier League after two seasons as a Sporting starter, joining his compatriots José Sá, Nélson Semedo, Toti Gomes, Rúben Neves, João Moutinho, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence, Gonçalo in the Wolves. Guedes and Chiquinho, in a team that is coached by another Portuguese, Bruno Lage.
