The first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, is the cover of the North American edition of Vogue magazine in October and through the lens of renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz. Both the first page and some of the images that make up the report have already been published by the author of the images and the wife of Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the interview link.
Moments alone with Olena, who is the protagonist of this production, and in the company of her husband, head of state, which are captured in places in Kyiv that are marked by war: at the airport, on barricaded walls, in the protected presidential palace and between elements of the army.
Acknowledging that it is “a great honor and a dream of many successful people around the world”, Olena writes, on her Facebook page, that she would like, however, that this did not happen “because of the war [that these same personalities lived] in their countries”.
