China’s Health Commission has required several local authorities to test for ‘monkeypox’ among arrivals from abroad, especially those whose travel history includes countries with cases of this disease in the 21 days prior to entering the Asian country, it indicated.

According to the newspaper, the Commission has also asked anyone who has been in contact with those infected with monkeypox to inform the authorities, even if they do not show any symptoms.
