Volodymyr Zelensky compared the invasion of Russia to the Covid-19 pandemic and described weapons and sanctions as a vaccine. “Weapons and sanctions are a vaccine against Covid-22 brought by Russia,” Zelensky said, hours after warning that the fight for Severodonetsk could decide “the fate” of the entire Donbass.
The Ukrainian president again appealed for more foreign aid because “the Ukrainian military is dying on the battlefield”.
