Speaking in Berlin to Tikhon Dzyadko, editor-in-chief of Dozhd TV, Russia’s only independent television network, Alexei Navalny spoke about his poisoning, President Vladimir Putin’s alleged involvement and his return to Russia.
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is the director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation in Moscow. In August, he was transported from Siberia to Berlin to be treated for a serious illness that doctors and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons later confirmed to have been caused by the neurotoxic agent Novichok. Now, in recovery, Navalny has spoken to Tikhon Dzyadko, the editor-in-chief of television channel Dozhd TV (TV Rain), the only remaining independent television network in Russia.
