Portuguese cyclist continues to lead the Tour of Italy. He won Kelderman two seconds, second place overall.
The Portuguese João Almeida (Deceuninck-QuickStep) reinforced this Tuesday the pink jersey, in a 16th stage of the Tour to Italy on a bicycle won by the Slovenian Jan Tratnik (Bahrain-McLaren), resistant to the escape of the day.
Tratnik, 30, cut the finish after 6: 04.36 hours, necessary to cover the 229 kilometers between Udine and San Daniele del Friuli, seven seconds ahead of Australian Ben O’Connor (NTT), second, and the Italian Enrico Battaglin (Bahrain-McLaren), third at 1.14 minutes, all members of the day’s getaway, which had almost 30 elements.
