Macau deputy and former journalist Agnes Lam does not know what World Press Photo is

The deputy and professor of the Communication Department at the University of Macau Agnes Lam says she is not aware of the World Press Photo exhibition, which gathers the best journalism photographs in the world.

In Macau the exhibition was closed ahead of time. According to TDM-Rádio Macau, the decision will be related to the exhibition of photographs of the protests in Hong Kong.

The case was echoed in the local and international press, but a former journalist says he is not aware. “I don’t know what [World Press Photo] is. I can’t comment. I will inform myself first ”, he responded, speaking to TDM-Rádio Macau.
