Basketball league closed season without coronavirus infections in more than 100 days
Interrupted for four and a half months by the new coronavirus pandemic, the NBA season was resumed and concluded in a health experiment that proved to be very successful.
In more than a hundred days, there was zero case of Covid-19 in the disease protection environment created by the North American league at the Disney complex.
The “bubble”, as it was conventionally called the space around Orlando, entered the lexicon of the sport and left clear lessons about the possibility of isolation of Sars-CoV-2. It is quite difficult, however, for the format to be repeated – even by the NBA itself.
