Without social distancing, beaches in Rio de Janeiro were packed

Strong sun, blue skies and a lot of heat are enough reasons to fill the beaches of Rio de Janeiro under normal conditions, but during the covid-19 pandemic it should not occur.

This Sunday was no different from what has been happening on the weekends of the city, despite the municipal decree that prohibits people from staying in the sand.

On the beaches of Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, in the south, and Barra da Tijuca, in the west, what was seen was a lot of agglomeration. People who not only respected distance, but also did not wear masks.

Bathing and sea sports are allowed in the capital, however, playing sand games like altinha is not yet. This was also disrespected.
