In the last seven days, the moving average of new deaths was 900 every 24 hours from the new coronavirus. The number is the lowest recorded since May 25, when 883 deaths were recorded.
This Thursday, Brazil, 27, 970 deaths and 42,489 new infections of coronavirus, according to data from the survey carried out by Estadão, G1, O Globo, Extra, Folha and UOL with the state health departments. In total, 118,726 lives have already were lost because of covid-19.
The most recent balance sheet by the Ministry of Health also shows that 2,947,250 people have recovered from the coronavirus throughout the country.
Of those infected, there are already 3,764,493 Brazilians with the new coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, 42,489 of which were confirmed on the last day. The moving average of cases was 37,057 per day, recorded in the last two weeks. The State of São Paulo, the epicenter of the epidemic, accounts for 29,415 deaths and 784,453 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.
