Brazil accounted for 1,212 deaths due to covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the executive said today, adding that the country has totaled 111,100 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, officially registered on February 26.
Regarding the number of infected with the new coronavirus, Brazil now has 3,456,652 confirmed cases, 49,298 of which were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Health authorities are also investigating the possible link of 3,173 deaths with the disease, which today has a lethality of 3.2% in the South American country.
