Auction, announced in May as having a new format to adapt to the pandemic, will take place simultaneously in Hong Kong, Paris, London and New York.
The oil painting ‘Tours d’arme’, by Portuguese painter Maria Helena Vieira da Silva (1908-1992), is among the 20th century works of art that will be auctioned off on Friday at an international Christie’s auction.
Among the painting works presented in the catalog is a canvas signed by Vieira da Silva, measuring 73.2 by 92 centimeters, dated 1954.
