Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited has informed Macau News Agency that its House of Dancing Water show at its City of Dreams Cotai property will be suspended starting from June 18 until January 2021 with a revamp to be conducted by creator Franco Dragone
The water-based stage production was written and directed by Franco Dragone – know for his work with Cirque du Soleil – premiered in September 2010, with over 6 million spectators attending the production.
The gaming operator informed Macau News Agency that the changes will entail a reduction of the show’s staff with non-resident blue card permit holders employed in the show to be impacted but with the operator to focus in hiring local workers.
