The World Health Organization explains that the origin and scale of the outbreak are being investigated.
The World Health Organization said today that the new outbreak of covid-19 in China already has more than 100 cases, adding that it hopes that the Beijing authorities will disclose as soon as possible the genetic sequence of the virus detected.
“More than 100 cases have been confirmed. The origin and scale of the outbreak are being investigated,” said WHO director general, Tedros, Ghebreyesus, at a press conference at the organization’s headquarters in Geneva.
