Over 331 infected and eight deaths in Portugal

The bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health also records eight more fatalities due to the new coronavirus. 93% of new infections are located in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.

In Portugal, in the last 24 hours, eight more people died and another 331 cases of covid-19 were confirmed (an increase of 1% over the previous day). According to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), this Thursday (June 4), in total, since the pandemic began, there were 33 592 infected, 20 323 recovered (more 244) and 1 455 victims mortals in the country.

In other words, there are currently 11 814 active Portuguese patients (a figure found when the number of people cured and killed is subtracted from the national total). Of these, 96% are recovering at home.
