The UK recorded the death of 627 people infected with the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the Covid-19 pandemic to 32,692, according to data published today by the Ministry of Health.
The total number of contagion cases identified to date is 226,463, 3,403 more than the previous day.
