The Berlin Marathon will not take place in September as planned, after Germany banned public meetings of more than 5,000 people until October 24 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, organizers said.
They did not specify whether the event, in which the last seven world records in the men’s event were set, will be postponed or canceled altogether.
