The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) foresees that the national championships will remain suspended in May, due to the covid-19 pandemic, but warned that the “return cannot go past June”, revealed the president of the Pernambuco federation.
“CBF considers that in May there will be no football, but his return cannot go beyond June, under penalty of compromising the entire national calendar,” said Evandro de Carvalho on Monday, after a video conference with members of the CBF.
