G2E Asia and the Asian IR Expo, two leading events for the gaming, entertainment, and hospitality industries, will be held concurrently from May 12 to 14 at the Venetian Macao hotel-casino.
According to Yip Je Choong, CEO of Reed Exhibitors, the focus on cutting-edge technologies is expected to attract 8,000 gaming industry professionals from more than 90 countries and regions, a 33% increase over last year.
The exhibition will occupy an area of over 30,000 square meters, with organizers describing the event as a platform “to explore innovations, exchange ideas, and forge strategic partnerships.”
“Participants will gain practical insights and discover new opportunities to stay at the forefront in an increasingly digital landscape,” added Yip Je Choong.

The Digital Innovation exhibition, for example, will feature 150 brands, “covering every segment of the industry’s supply chain.” Highlights include a robotic bar and live performances by a robotic band.
Both G2E Asia and the Asian IR Expo will also host three days of conferences, which will address “current trends, emerging technologies, and the key issues shaping their respective industries,” according to a statement from the organizers.
More than 50 educational sessions featuring over 100 speakers will focus on topics such as the outlook for the Asian gaming market; technology and innovation in the industry; and sustainable development.
In the first three months of the year, Macau’s casinos recorded total revenue of 65.9 billion patacas (approximately 7.45 billion euros), up 14.3% from the same period in 2025. Last year, casino revenues reached 247.4 billion patacas (nearly 28 billion euros), a 9.1% increase compared to 2024. These revenues accounted for nearly 83% of the Chinese Special Administrative Region’s budget in 2025, through gambling taxes.
