Portuguese center Neemias Queta contributed 13 points as the Boston Celtics defeated reigning NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder 119-109 in a regular-season game on Wednesday.
Queta, who started in Boston’s lineup, also grabbed five rebounds (four defensive, one offensive), dished out two assists, and recorded two steals during his 29 minutes and 54 seconds on the court against the defending champions.
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 31 points, adding eight rebounds and eight assists, while Canadian Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points for the Thunder, who remain first in the Western Conference despite the loss in Boston.
