The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, told the BBC that Russian President Vladimir Putin started the “Third World War,” defending military and economic pressures to force Russia to withdraw its forces from Ukraine.
“I think Putin has already started (‘World War III’). The question is how much territory he will be able to conquer and how to stop him (…). Russia wants to impose a different way of life on the world and change the life that people have chosen,” Zelensky said in an interview with the British public broadcaster BBC, which was released on Monday, February 23.
