The ministry criticized unilateral measures implemented by the U.S., such as reciprocal tariffs and tariffs related to fentanyl, noting that they violate both international economic and trade rules and U.S. domestic laws. The spokesperson added that these actions do not align with the interests of any party.
Highlighting that history has repeatedly proven that cooperation benefits both nations while confrontation harms both, China urged the United States to revoke the relevant unilateral tariff measures imposed on its trading partners.
