Sands China Ltd. wrapped up its OSH Month 2025 after six weeks of activities across The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, The Londoner Macao and Sands Macao.

The programme ran Oct. 17–Nov. 28 and featured an OSH Month Showcase on Nov. 4 at The Venetian Macao’s back-of-house team member area, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to team members’ safety and health.

The initiative centred on five themes: Health Index, Healthy Eating, OSH Awareness, Exercise and this year’s new Inner Wellness. Activities included health-screening roadshows, expert seminars, practical workshops, traffic safety education, vaccination services and health checks.

A newly introduced risk assessment of common chronic diseases used advanced AI retinal scan technology to evaluate dozens of health indicators linked to eye health and cardiovascular, endocrine, metabolic and nervous systems.

Sands China also partnered with Kiang Wu Hospital and the University of Macau to provide chronic disease checks and personalised health recommendations.

During the OSH Showcase Sands China presented appreciation tokens to partner organisations, held the finals of its Occupational Safety and Health Challenge, ran themed exhibition booths and presented its annual OSH Awards—an industry first among Macao’s integrated resort operators—recognising departments with outstanding OSH performance.

Paulo Cheong, senior vice president of human resources for Sands China Ltd., said: “Employees are the most valuable asset of any enterprise. Sands China firmly believes that the safety and health of our 27,000 team members is the driving force behind the company’s sustainable development. As the largest private employer in Macao, we prioritise team members’ well-being through a focus on safety, health, and prevention.
