During the 10th anniversary ceremony for the Local Small, Medium and Micro Suppliers Support Programme Tuesday, Sands China executives presented certificates of appreciation to 40 SME partners – many of whom have worked with the company for over two decades.
Sands China Ltd. commemorated the 10th anniversary of its Local Small, Medium and Micro Suppliers Support Programme at The Londoner Macao, unveiling a booklet of success stories and hosting the 2025 Sands Supplier Excellence Awards.
The programme — co-launched with the Macao Chamber of Commerce in 2015 — aims to prioritise local SME procurement, empower “Made in Macao” companies and nurture young entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the F.I.T. programme (financial support, invitational matching, training).
Key results since launch include MOP 119.4 billion in total procurement, with local procurement accounting for 83% and involving some 4,700 SMEs.
At the ceremony Sands China presented certificates of appreciation to 40 long-term SME partners and encouraged deeper collaboration between suppliers and internal procurement teams.

Looking ahead, we will continue to support the Macao SAR government in helping local SMEs explore new pathways in digital transformation, brand upgrading, and international expansion, contributing our efforts toward Macao’s economic diversification.”
Sands China awards seven winners in the Sands Supplier Excellence Awards Tuesday, acknowledging the cooperation and services of some of its most noteworthy suppliers. A judging committee composed of Sands China executive management selects the award recipients each year.

Following the awards, attendees joined a cocktail and networking session to strengthen procurement links.
