At a press conference held on Monday (13th), the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee announced the event details. Alongside the four FIA-sanctioned competitions, the race weekend will also include the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, the Greater Bay Area GT Cup, and the Macau Road Sport Challenge.
To enhance the citywide festive atmosphere, organizers will host family-friendly events such as a carnival and car exhibition during the Grand Prix period.
Six integrated resort operators have been named as the event’s main sponsors. Speaking at the press conference, Assistant Coordinator of the Organizing Committee Mok Chi Hang said the government has maintained close cooperation with the FIA, continuously introducing new elements to reinforce the Grand Prix’s significance on the international motorsport stage. Mok added that the six gaming operators are expected to leverage their resources and strengths to maximize the event’s social and economic benefits.
