Six months after he died, aged 73, the distribution of the inheritance of Ivana Trump, former model and first wife of the now ex-president of the United States of America Donald Trump, is known. A fortune that, according to the North American edition of Forbes magazine, is valued at 34 million dollars (31.5 million euros).
And if the biggest slice goes, as expected, to the children resulting from the marriage with the businessman – Donald Jr., born in 1977, Ivanka Marie, in 1981, and Eric, in 1984 -, the truth is that there are also surprises, according to that publication
The largest portion outside the family is worth one million dollars (925 thousand euros) and will go directly to the one who was the nanny of Ivana and Donald’s children, Dorothy Curry, and who worked with the family for decades. According to the inventory now revealed, it will be the product of a condominium in Florida that real estate agents estimate at that value. The former nanny will also keep Ivana’s dog, the Yorkshire terrier named Tiger Trump.
According to Ivana herself in her 2017 biographical book, Raising Trump, Curry started as a nanny and became a personal assistant. In between, she was responsible for teaching religion and prayers to the couple’s children, in English, and which Ivana was unaware of. “I can’t say that religion plays an important role in my life now (…) but I am happy that the children have grown up talking to God”, he wrote about the woman who helped raise the children at a time when she, too, was looking for adapt to English.
