Increases to 35 dead toll of Russian attack on Dnipro
The new toll of victims of the Russian attack that hit a building in Dnipro on Saturday refers to the death of 35 people, including two children, said today the regional government of eastern Ukraine.
“Thirty-nine people were saved, 75 were injured,” added Valentyn Reznichenko, regional governor of Dnipropetrovsk.
The same official added that there are still 35 other people to be located who, presumably, were in the building at the time it was hit.
The first balance sheet indicated the deaths of 25 civilians, including a child.
On Sunday, the head of state of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that 72 apartments were destroyed and more than 230 damaged, following the same attack, carried out from the Russian region of Kursk, by Moscow forces.
