The President of the Tourism Industry Association, Andy Wu, believes that the number of visitors during the Chinese New Year period will be satisfactory and will be the highest since the beginning of the pandemic.
Andy Wu recalls the rapid changes in policies to combat and prevent the pandemic and believes that the end of quarantines opens up prospects for a future that, he believes, will be auspicious.

The official pointed out that currently two to three thousand people are entering Macau daily from Hong Kong, through the bridge connecting the two regions, a number that contrasts with the 20 thousand that were registered in the pre-pandemic period.
Even so, Andy Wu predicts that the neighboring region will be the main market of origin of tourists during the festivities of the coming Chinese New Year, not least because the resumption of sea links between Hong Kong and Macau will be soon.
