The 49-year-old actress made the revelation on the “Second Life” podcast and also recalled the difficulties she faced at the beginning of her career.
The interpreter mentioned that she was involved with the “drug trade in the early 90s”, but that she did not know what she was involved in.
Cameron Diaz started by remembering that she started her career as a catalog model and that when she managed to save some money she moved to Paris, France. “But I stayed there for a whole year and didn’t work a day,” she recalled.
“So I got a job, but actually I think I was being used as a ‘mule’ [drug courier] in Morocco – I swear to God,” she revealed.
