Boris Johnson promises end of new measures on February 3

About 80 conservative deputies reject the Government’s controversial plan to impose restrictive measures on different areas of the country according to three levels of risk (medium, high and very high), based on the incidence of covid-19.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised to lift the new pandemic restrictions that are due to take effect on Wednesday in February, according to a letter sent to contesting deputies and released today.

According to the agency EFE, which cites British ‘media’, Boris Johnson wrote to his party’s deputies that they contest the new restrictions system to try to avoid the lead in the proposal, explaining that they expire on February 3.
