The Mozambican Ministry of Defense considers that the naked slaughter of a defenseless woman, shot at the side of the road by men in military uniforms and machine guns, should be investigated, the press reported today.
“Facts of this nature should always be denounced by all the living forces of society, and should be investigated to ascertain their authenticity and veracity, with a view to proper accountability”, refers to a statement from the ministry, released today by Jornal Notícias and Rádio Mozambique.
The video, of unknown origin and with no identified location, started circulating on social media on the same day, presented as a picture of the situation of human rights violations in the Cabo Delgado conflict, northern Mozambique, between rebels and Mozambican forces.
