Tensions at various levels between China and the United States have often been equated with the Cold War. It is obvious that diplomatic, commercial and political conflicts are far from being equivalent to the global dread of nuclear annihilation, when the bunkers were just another division of the house.
However, a geopolitical agenda advanced this week to the nuclear issue with the release of the Pentagon report “Military and defense development of the People’s Republic of China 2020”, a document of responsibility of the Department of Defense, delivered to Congress every year.
