President Embaló says there is corruption in the Supreme Court of Justice

The President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, said that there is corruption in the Supreme Court of Justice and that anyone who wants to do politics should join the political parties.

“There is corruption in Guinea-Bissau’s highest court of justice, which is the Supreme Court of Justice,” said Umaro Sissoco Embaló, at Osvaldo Vieira international airport, in Bissau, moments after arriving from a private visit to France.

The head of state said that as long as he is President there will be no “bandits” in the Supreme Court of Justice and that he “already has a solution for them”.

“Anyone who wants to do politics should go to PAIGC, Madem, PRS or another party and go and take their militant card,” he declared.

Umaro Sissoco Embaló also considered that “national reconciliation” is a “cinema”.
