Angola wants a solid partnership with the European Union

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Amadeu Leitão, defended joint actions in areas considered fundamental for the promotion of solid partnerships with the European Union (EU), within the scope of the ongoing economic diversification in Angola.

The minister made this statement in a videoconference organized Friday in Rome by the Italy-Africa Chamber of Commerce, which works to create partnership policies, facilitate and materialize existing lines of financing for Africa, as well as the dissemination of potential African countries.

Under the motto “South Magnetic Pole & Internationalization in Africa”, during the meeting, in which Ambassador Fátima Jardim participated, a set of concerns was presented that, in general, have affected the normal functioning of the policies for the implementation of trade between the European Union and Africa and certain development programs in various regions of the African continent.
