Spain recorded 217 deaths due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours, an increase from 184 on Wednesday and a number that rises again above the 200 death barrier.
According to the Spanish Ministry of Health, the country has recorded a total of 27,321 deaths since the disease was declared.
According to the figures released, there are 506 new cases with the disease, bringing to 229,540 the total number of infected people confirmed until today by the PCR test, the most reliable in detecting the new coronavirus.
The daily data also indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 330 patients were hospitalized, out of a total of 124,225 people who needed to be hospitalized.
